Devil's Claw
9 Answers
I'd be interested to know if any ABers have experience of this supplement. I've done a bit of research on line but would value some first hand experience. I have quite a lot of pain in my hands with thickening joints and knobbly bits on the palms (think it's a bit of rheumatoid arthritis) - if anyone had any information on the pros and cons I'd appreciate their opinion. Thank you

Only second hand anecdotal evidence, rsvp - My mother has quite severe osteoarthritis of the hands and suffers a fair bit, so has been interested in trying different remedies. She did try Devil's claw but got no benefit from it..

I used Devil's Claw capsules from Holland and Barrett for severe back pain after recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately it caused really bad stomach pain with me so I stopped taking it. I think however that there could be a cream/gel containing the same which may be better-the capsule dose was just too strong for me.
