A watch list is in your Ebay account, things which are already on sale, and which you want to keep an eye on, either to see how much they go for or to put a bid on.
A wish list are things you would like to buy if they are put on sale.

But then what does it mean to add an item you are viewing to the Wish List?

How does eBay treat them differently?
Not entirely sure, but i read on Yahoo! Answers, and saw a youtube video on google. Im guessing a wishlist is a collection of items on ebay that u personaly add, that another user can purchase for you. This particularly works with lower priced items, as no one would like to pay £500 for some person they dont even know, for some item that might break in a few day
s. But its a wish for a reason. Someone might be feeling generous because of their new baby or raise. Hope this helps.
