When I was about 7....maybe 8. I was told not to as the big ones would grow wonky. They didn't grow wonky :-)

erin, ive got an uncle who has pulled all his own (bad) teeth out. Cant imagine doing it myself until recently. Got a bit of a phobia about the dentists and have a really painful toothache.

Never heard about anybody pulling out teeth but knew a chap who filled a cavity with plastic wood !!

I still had a 'milk tooth' when I was 27 it was loose but the dentist didn't want to pull it, it was getting so annoying n painful that in the end I pulled it myself!

No, you run the risk of leaving bits behind, and getting even worse infections. Grit your - er - teeth, and go to the dentist. These days, it doesn't hurt.

An update on this, yes I did pull my own tooth because my dentist refused to! it was a milk tooth after all, So i pulled it out myself with a little help from vodka lol I then went to a different dentist who gave me a 'falsie' the new dentist filed my tooth so much for my false tooth to match, I ended up losing the next tooth too! long story short I now have 3 false teeth!!
