I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no shampoo, herbal or otherwise that can halt hair loss. The only possibly reversable hair loss is that caused by a number of medical conditions, which can be diagnosed and treated by your doctor. Basic male-pattern hair loss is irreversable - you can ignore claims to the contrary, let's face it, anyone who did find a cure for baldness would instantly be the most famous person on the planet! If you are losing your hair as you grow older, do so gracefully. Fortunately, there's never been a better time - really short hair, razor crops and cue-ball styles are more popular than ever, and the modern generation of women make it more obvious that they don't measure your appeal by virtue of having standing-room only on your head. Remember, no-one really cares about how much hair you have, the adjustment is making sure you don't care either. As for the 'freshness' - any nicely scented shampoo from any chemist, and regular wasing, will take care of that aspect of your question. Avoid the 'shredded wheat' comb-over - even Bobby Charlton has abandoned that, and looks better for it. Be an 'honest' hair loser, people will respect you for it, and you can get on with your life without worrying about it.
