I have a large supply of Foam bath but as I don't have baths or very rarely, can I use it as a shower lotion or would it be too drying for the skin? They are Dove products.

I've used bath oil in the past when I've run out of shower gel. It will be fine.
I use them interchangeably, not bothered which. we put shower foam in the bath.
Mr Tiggs uses bath creme as shower gel all the time. He uses Sanex.
I can't use Dove, my skin doesn't like it at all.
Ii will be fine. Your skin does not know whether you have had a bath or shower. In any case you are only showering with it and not soaking in it like you would in a bath, which is probably better in the long run because at least you are rinsing with water. Enjoy:)

Good, that means i've got a good 6 month supply; might take me upto Xmas....
Thanks all.
I can't use Dove either. I tried the deodorant once and came out in a rash. I have avoided it ever since.
I compared the ingredients (it took me a long time, lol) of the same variety/fragrance of a shower gel and a foam bath and there wasn't a single difference. After that I always bought the bath rather than the shower product as it worked out much cheaper.

Dove seems to be fine for me, if I find it the same Robinia I'll buy that in future though toiletries are usually Xmas and birthday presents.
i like using bubble bath/shower gel to wash my hair sometimes....it strips all the rubbish that gets built up in your hair from stuff like wash and go/other 2 in 1 shampoos. plus it usually smells very nice! x
This is basically the same stuff but 'gel' has less water in it.
It's all the same thing. A few years ago a friend phoned NHS direct because their kiddy ingested ariel laundry liquid. They were told to make her drink water and not to worry, as it contained EXACTLY the same ingredients as washing up liquid. Half the things we buy are a con.

Icg that what I was a bit bothered about 'stripping' my skin of: the bit of oil it's got! I suppose if I moisturize well afterwards there shouldn't be a problem as everybody says it's the same thing anyway.
