Can anyone help please - am in a bit of a quandry - first visit to a beautician and not sure if I tip or not. Do you? If so how much - is it like the hairdressers?

What are you getting done, daisy??
One of my Best Friends is a beauty therapist and she has her own business, I always tell her to keep the change which is usually about £2

First off a facial to try to get rid this grey winter skin - then I'm having EPL laser treatment for thread veins on nose and chin, and maybe skin resurfacing. I'll see how it goes.

Sorry it's Ellipse IPL
I always tip £2, haircut or eyebrow wax.

Definitely no need to tip for laser and skin resurfacing.

Lucky you! :-)

Why no tipping for laser treatment, Madmen?
I always tip hairdressers and beauticians.xx
Just my personal opinion, Daisymay. I would feel a bit awkward tipping someone who'd just given me laser treatment.

I suppose it would depend on where I was having it done though. If it was at a clinic, then I would definitely not tip, if it was in a back room at a hairdressers, then I probably would.

Thanks for your opinions - I suppose as I tip my hairdresser I should also tip the beautician.
