I have stainless steel ones. I chucked out all my china ones years ago. Why do you want to paint it ? couldnt you just buy another ?

bob, how about painting it a fetching shade of Orange, you know, like those buckets you can buy from B & Q !.

I'm glad this question has been posed, it's been on my mid for a while! I don't own an egg cup. I use shot glasses instead - does the trick. My shot glasses are orange, green and blue. I prefer fried eggs, and i find that they don't sit very well in egg cups.

You could paint the inside of the egg cup, develop a severe memory loss problem then have a surprise every time you finished your egg.

I'm with Salla. Has to be white china. We have an array of egg cups in the house. The kids have little solider cups, and I have some rather nice Emma Bridgewater ones.

But yes, bright Orange would suit you best I think.... :)
