I would like have an est. of the value of a Harry Lane lithograph cc 1945 sold by Catalda Fines Arts, N.Y.C. It is a still Life entitled "Magnolias"

The first thing to say is that the best way to get a free valuation on any work of art is simply to visit any well-established fine-art auctioneer. (They're always happy to give a valuation because they hope that you'll sell the item using their auction room).

The next thing to say is that the likely answer to your question will be 'Not a lot'. While Harry Lane's oil paintings might fetch �1000 his lithographs are not in demand. Google cached a page from eBay's Canadian site here:

From this you will see that a vendor in the USA was trying to sell a 1945 Harry Lane lithograph last August. With just 4 minutes left, the auction had not attracted a single bid despite a quoted starting price equivalent to about 30 Canadian dollars (which, in turn, is equal to about �15).
