Manchester - Wedding Dresses And Lunch - Personal Recommendations, Please
I have the great honour to be chief bridesmaid for a wedding next year (I may already have mentioned this once or twice ;)).
In April I have planned a day out for the "bride to be" going wedding dress shopping.
I therefore need to know
1) Which are the best wedding dress shops in Manchester - I don't mind making appointments etc, I want her to see a range of dresses and try as many on as she feels able to
2) Where is a really nice wine bar/bistro type place/hotel for two ladies to have a decent light lunch and a bottle of fizz?! (We will only want something light because I've got the boys lined up to cook supper!)

Friend went in French connection in manchester on the hunt for the full bride n bridesmaids.
Assistant literally looked her up and down before saying,'oh no, we've nothing for you' (emphasis on last word), turned her back and walked away.
So steel yourself if you shop there.......
