My local co-op was selling Hovis bread with 50pence off your next hovis.
Managed to save 2 50pence off vouchers and when I tried to redeem them I was told they were no longer selling hovis.Only brought the bread a few days ago. what would you do or say. Can I insist they refund it? They must
have known they were changing suppliers when I made my original purchase.

My store seems to be phasing out Hovis, we've started putting Kingsmill on the shelves now.

"Can I insist they refund it?"

Yes of course you can, don't guarantee that you'll get it though.
Always plenty of sliced Hovis around at my local Aldi.

I can probably redeem them elsewhere in another supermarket but I wouldn't save anything as i'd either have to pay bus fare or get OH to take me there in the car. I'll probably cut my losses.

Sounds like sharp practice to me
There probably some t&cs somewhere that say 'in participating stores'.
Aw, thanks cupid pal, just noticed 'Best Answer' :-)

5 Remember to erase anything on the voucher which could identify you :-)
Sounds like the kind of trick B00 would pull.
Have you tried ringing their customer services department, cupid? They might offer you some other kind of voucher.
(excuse me, cupid) feeling better, tilly?
My store has also slowly phased out Hovis. Kingsmill dominates now and Warburtons is growing in popularity. Your local co-op would not have known about the coupons until the bread arrived in-store. Pain in the butt for you, though!
Slightly, DTC. Thank you for asking.
