I am not quite sure of the protocol but I want to thank someone who was very helpful in answering my question in February in the H&G section.
Do I repost the question or can I just thank the poster by posting the subject and date/time?
Or can I do FAO?
Hope this makes sense.
Don't want ed rapping my knuckles.
Thanks for any advice.

~I would personally just add an answer to your original question thanking the poster.

Just find the relevant thread in your profile and add your thanks .
Mark their answer (on the original thread) as best answer. You could also type your thanks, again on the original thread.

Don't report 'em- that might send them to the naughty corner
