annie- I assume you mean hearsay rather than heresy. A crime is a crime, but I would agree it's a little unfair to judge what people did then by today's standards

I know where you are coming from Annie, but the 14-15yr old girls dressed up as dogs dinners in the 60's were not as street wise as they are today, they probably wanted kisses and attention only. That was my era and that is how me and my friends felt, none of us had had sex at that age. I also agree that all this publicity has them crawling out of the woodwork, but then the fair play part of me, doesn't think the "men" should go unpunished if it is proven. A complete and utter mess.

If anyone of the famous was a real paedo, then yes, get him,He needs to be strung up. but, most 14/15 year olds are not little kids in reality, only in law, and if they acted older, which most of them want to, then they shouldn't cry about it 30 years later. if you were a slapper then, tough. don't try to blame everyone else.

I must just add netibiza, i was brought up in the east end of London, and hanging around pubs on the isle of dogs were many "kids" some perhaps 12 or 13. they were up for it, and no one was asking to see their birth certificate, and the lads they went with were probably only 16 or 17, but in those days no one knew the what the word "paedo" meant, or probably cared.

I used to go and watch lennie peters in bethenal green,( the rising sun) but that wasn't actually as bad as the isle of dogs, as most in bethenal green were Jewish, and they had different way of life, I believe.

I'm glad that Bercow woman is getting a roasting in court.

I think some of those youngsters were attracted to the fame, not thinking for a minute they would be singled out by those 'stars'. I wonder if any have been lying?
