I counted the calories *and* remembered it, for precisely the reason that you have said, which is that I am a sad anorak with no life and nothing better to do. However, counting calories on New Millenium Eve is not the saddest thing I have done, though. Since the beginning of 1998 I have been counting, and keeping records on a monthly basis, the number I have done something which would probably be censored by the editor of this website if I were to actually mention the word.
