Friend is not currently on any prescribed meds but has been taking a couple of codeine for a few days for migraines which I suspect is something to do with it.
EB...yes, I would say so.
by chance we were discussing dandelion and burdock on another thread...this has beneficial effects on the system and provides a mild diuretic and laxative.

evian, pears are a good unstopperer - every time I feel a bit bunged up, I eat a pear - give it a go.

It's a nice suggestion Boxy, but I can guarantee that would come back out the wrong way.
I could see desky's headline "Fed up - just pooped pairs."
I've used senecot in the past (same reason, painkillers making me constipated). However it is not 'gentle relief' by any stretch of the imagination so make you're not planning on doing anything the following day and that you have soft tissue!

Funny you say that China, I haven't taken any yet because I'm training someone at work this week and would rather avoid any obvious disappearances. I'm hoping big bowls of bra flakes might fix it :)
