I have just noticed that I haven't noted a single event or appointment in my diary since the Grand National on 6th of April and before that there was a four week gap back to Cruft's. Why? Because I never use a diary now; the Blackberry does the job and those events were entered in the diary about a year before their date. So, do any of you still write appointments etc in a paper diary? Why, if you have electronic means of doing so ?

I rarely write anything in any diary, my good lady (Carakeel) keeps a pretty good track of whats going on.

I have a paper diary - couldn't be without it. Electronic is fine - until you get a gremlin in the works and you can't retrieve your information.

I always like to put something in my diary each day; no matter how trivial or banal.

I've kept all my diaries since 2002 and found they make excellent toilet time reading material.

I use both - paper one just in case the electronic one fails. Belt and braces me lol.

I use a diary to put my work hours in, other than that i don't use one. I don't have enough of a social life (oh ok, I don't have one at all) to merit using a diary, paper or electronic :-(

My diary's are quite amusing. They are full of scibbles and phones numbers. I never actually write anything on the proper date. Yesterday I was using it to write messages to my nephew so my OH didn't know what we were talking about :-)

Then I caught him trying to search my browsing history looking for clues...

I use a paper diary, but also record things on my blackberry that I need for work. I tend to mislay my mobile quite often or forget to charge it, but my diary never moves from it's spot. Trusty old diary for me!
