OK - this is not an invitation for those with "fetishes" or sarcastic senses of humour, so honest, sensitive answers please.

Can men tell me if their wives/partners bodies are still just as attractive, moreso or less attractive when they're pregnant?

And why does it not matter how many times you tell you husband/partner that intimate relations will not hurt the baby, they still find worry about it?

this depends entirely on the individual male. There are certainly some who go right off pregnant wives. I often suspect there's more to this than meets the eye; they're scared of being fathers, for whatever reason. But it may just be they're fixated on the sort of body shapes you see in Heat magazine and can't accept that things change. Most adult males don't seem to have a problem, though.

As for intimate relations, I think both sexes worry about this a bit, especially later in the pregnancy. Quite right too - even if it isn't actually necessary, it shows that people are already starting to consider the baby's needs!

Personally I find my wife to be beautiful when pregnant, as she is at the moment, equally when not as well. It's the most wonderful thing for a man to know that his woman is carrying his child, it's like the ultimate high and at least for me makes her very attractive indeed. It's nice to be able to share baby kicks etc and intimacy, because you are more careful and considerate, can take on whole new facets. That being said I desperately want this baby and find the whole process wonderful. A man who was surprised with fatherhood before he was maybe ready might not take the same view as jno points out.You should love your partner because you love them not because their shape changes and although my wife objects to me calling her stretch marks "go faster stripes", I couldn't imagine not finding her attractive because my baby had altered her shape in some way.

My husband loved me when I was pregnant, I dont think it was any different. There were things he was scared of doing though.

However, my friend who was pregnant at the same time has a knob for a husband and when she told him she was feeling very horny, he told her at only 3 months pregnant..."Im sorry I just dont see you as sexy anymore i just think of you as carrying my kid"

Never tell your partner this.

I do not recall thinking of any change in attractiveness when my wife was expecting. I don't recall seing her undressed and thinking anything one way or the other except that I was glad it was not me who was carrying the kicking little person inside!

I did worry about relations hurting the baby. But that did not stop us! Her doctor told us what we could and could not do. We stayed within those limits and our children, of course, were just fine. No indentations.

lmao - no indentations, is that why they have a soft spot?
I would like to say firstly to noxlumos, what a beautiful man you are. How lovely to hear your feelings, your baby will be so happy and contented with a dad like you. To Otrere, if your man loves you he will see the total beauty of you carrying his child. Lots of men worry about intimacy at this time, but as a mother of three, I can assure him that an active physical relationship during pregnancy is perfectly safe, and can be more adventurous, tender and intimate than ever. Good luck to you both. Love and light Amara x
