I have recently bought a PSP. When I looked on ebay for games, there are people selling dvd's with dozens of games on.

How does this work?, is it a scam? is it safe? I know it wont be legal !

Does anyone know?

just looked at one and if you read down it says you can transfer the games to your memory stick.

for this you will need a pc and a card reader - not heard of it before, check out a psp messageboard for info first if i were you.

and a dvd drive of course !
My general rule of thumb in such situations is to say "If this person is willing to break the law and copy games, how likely is it that he would also rip me off".

If they are 10 go for it, but don't spend any more than your are willing to lose.
One thing I should add is that there used to be loads of these sort of things for the Nintendo Gameboy, 80 games on 1 disk but when you actually used it there were about 80 menu items pointing to about 5 games.

to copy movies from a dvd to a psp you need pc with a dvd drive and assuming the movies are already in the correct format(mp4) a memory stick of adequate size & the correct usb cable - simple as that .

if the movies have not been re-encoded then you will need a movie converter such as 'rapiz'.these retail for 15 approx but you are right......this is illegal !

Just to let you know your PSP has to be a Japanese import, with Firmwear 1.6 to play copied games, as aposed the uk version which has a 2.0 Firmwear which will not play copied games. So if it is not japanese the games will not work. Do you think it was gonna be that easy.
