I read somewhere that city song birds numbers are dwindling and wondered if the fact they are singing all the time due to the bright night skies prevents them from sleep and they are just too tired to escape predators???
I'm not sure if it's still happening, but recently I heard birds singing during the night that I hadn't noticed before. I read somewhere that robins sing by streetlight at night and Cetti, another ABer, confirmed this is the case in another post. Sounds like more than just robins are singing during the night judging by some of the answers here though!
