It states ‘faceplate can be converted from portrait to landscape’ so if I was reading/working from landscape paper and turned the copyholder onto its side, do I take it I would I be able to move the line guide and the clip that holds the paper?.

According to this US site, with some of the Fellowes Copyholders you can certainly do just that...

I note that they're made for US letter size. This is some 17mm shorter than A4. I don't know if that would be a problem. Try Google for UK suppliers using the model numbers, (but add 'UK' to the search or you may end up with only US suppliers). Good Luck!
