Personally, my sexual desires are very much related to feeling rather than sight. So I am turned on more by the way something feels than what it looks like. Therefore, if I'm fantasising, I imagine the sensations rather than the visual. That's why I find erotic literature much more of a turn on than erotic film or pictures.
I may find a man with a 6 pack etc attractive to look at but it isn't a sexual turn on - more that I appreciate the aesthetics but don't get sexually stimulated.
I might be turned on by an attractive man stimulating a female in a film but that is because I am imagining what it feels like rather than because he looks nice.
For a woman to be turned on she has to find the man attractive - of course - but not necessarily in the obvious 6 pack, big pecs way. It could just be something about the look in their eyes (like my fella) or the way they touch you. Very hard to describe.
In case this question is posed by insecurity, my partner is not classically 'handsome' and is quite insecure about his looks but, to me, he is the sexiest guy alive because I love him to bits and he makes me feel great sexually.
God, you've made me horny now!!!!! Better take a cold shower ;)
