Lost Kitten - 2 Hours Of Terror

I got a new kitten on Friday and this morning she went missing. I turned the house upside down (I thought) and then had a complete breakdown as I thought she'd got in the washing machine with a load I'd put on. I fell apart, I couldn't look, I prayed (daft I know) and was beside myself, sweating and shaking. When my partner came in an hour or so later I told him and he said he had to check the machine. I sat on the floor and blocked my ears begging some higher being that she wouldn't be in there. He came and found me and said she wasn't there and then 5 minutes later she appeared from under a sofa. Not a question just so relieved and wanted to get it off my chest. I was so terrified.
