Just Had To Make A Horrible Phonecall ....
10 Answers
A place that i don't work for paid me this month ( i presume in the whole jiggling around of the NHS i somehow got on someone's list to pay; wrongly)
Anyway, have just had to call them to arrange to get the money back to them, how horrible. Wouldn't it be nice f we were all paid double amounts every now and then?

Naughty, so naughty, but I never flagged it up and fortunately they have never chased me up. My brain gave me the excuse of 'they deserved it, they treated my like dirt'. I know I was in the wrong, my conscience wouldn't allow me to do that now.
one time when i was working in the nHS, I was travelling a lot but the mileage was taxable...one month the lady who did my salary changed and the new lady decided that my mileage was NOT taxable and sent me that months mileage untaxed and a whole years tax repayment. I had the sad job of phoning her and quoting the Tax office rule that meant that I was right and she was wrong....deeply painful.
