"I know who's blocking me on MSN because I use " target="_blank">http://www.block-checker.com"
I get this messege as shown above eachtime i begin to chat to someone who has just signs who is on my list. Is this some kind of spam or virus - its getting on my nerves! Please help ASAP I have tried acanning my pc using some anti-virus utilties that i use but this doesnt seem to take any affect. How can I stop this - is anyone else having same problem ?? PLEASE DONT ANYONE CLICK THE LINK

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you go to the website, it has a removal tool, stating "Block Checker no longer uses our IM Advertiser." I don't know whether or not the removal tool does what it claims, but it's worth a try.
If all that fails, use system restore to restore your settings to a time when you didn't have the message coming up - providing you're using Windows XP.

Try this:
Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
Windows will automatically create restore points from time to time when the computer is shut down. Go back through the calender display in System Restore and find a date that preceeds you getting the "block checker" message - you can then just click 'restore' and Windows will take care of the rest.
