Possible To Buy At Walmart W/ Credit Card Then Get Refund On A Different Card?

Has anyone ever bought an item at Walmart on a credit card, then returned the item later and requested the refund go on a different card? Additionally, is it also possible to buy something with multiple gift cards, and get a refund either on a different CC or in cash? Thanks.

Well this is a UK site so it's ASDA and no, the payment would go back to your original payment method.

Don't know about Walmart in particular, but other shops always refund to the card you paid with. I don't think it's possible to put it on another card. Regarding second question, I would think they would give you the refund on a gift card, definitely not cash.

It's possible technically but the CC companies would not allow it because it would effectivkey become a way of borrowing cash under the same terms as purchases. Eg buy something for £n then refund it to a different card will have the same effect as a cash transfer of £n but with 56 days interest free with no balance transfer fee.
