Pampered meself this morning, so didn't bake.

What have we got this afternoon?

A party platter of assorted chicken wings, dips, drumsticks, spicy ribs,
2 giant chocolate cakes, a bottle of martini, and loads and loads of more chocolate bars.

(Am so not doing anything healthy today!)

That reminds me: I must bake one of my triple chocolate fudge cakes soon. From an American recipe, to which I've improved by adding more chocolate.

I hear Lady J is having issues getting through - any ideas on why she may have been delayed? Were there blockages near Kettering today?

There were some email problems last night DT but last I heard LadyJ has gone over to help whoever was having livestock problems....another death I think and he's not coping too well...think he's elderly.
Will let you know if I hear anything.....x

Probably the same farmer who surprised her gardening - was it last week? When she put her foot in the badger hole?

Oh I don't know.....are there many farms about her? It was the one who had a dead calf. I thought he was a farmer but I think he is an elderly man with just a few animals from what she said before her email went down??

there are a few small holdings down there, so probably one of those that back onto her and the communities are pretty close-knit and help each other out - all about being in the extremities of the UK.....hence why she would be concerned about a neighbour.
