No joy, lovely house but the stairs were just too steep and the treads were too small, Carakeel (being disabled) just couldn't cope, great shame but the search continues.

Shame about the house Ratter but I'm sure you will both enjoy the search. I lost the first house I put an offer on and I am so glad now....this one is so much better in so many ways. x

Thanks Gness, we have a few very nice properties to inquire about, including a couple of nice smallholdings. At this stage we will just be renting, we cant buy until we have been up there a while to suss out land and planning etc, planning isn't straight forward for what we have in mind.

Ratter, if you're looking at North Wales, come a bit further in. Abergele, Rhyl, Prestatyn are not the prettiest areas. There are lots of properties with land on Anglesey; Ogwen valley is so beautiful too. Further down again, is the Llyn peninsula, probably the most "Welsh" place of all. Take another trip and explore some more. I hope you find what you want.
