Where are all the bamboo shoots.

I have been cooking chinese style food for about 20 years. When I started, every supermarket stocked small tins of sliced bamboo shoots. However, for the last few years, every one of my local supermarkets have not stocked it.

Does anyone know why this is?

Do you have Morrisons supermarket near you? That's where I get mine.
Hi there,

I thought I'd reply as I was looking for these recently and failed. However, a few days later, I was wandering down a different aisle and found them next to the noodles and chinese sauces, not with the vegetables as I had expected.

This was in the co-op. Golden dragon brand, I think.
