Suggestions Needed

We have been invited to my neighbours little boy's first birthday party. Ideas needed please, it is a long time since I had to buy children's presents.

I don't want to spend too much, just a little something.

On a serious note, when mine were that age they had far too many toys. Perhaps clothes might be more useful?

Buy some simple little board books or bath books. Let it be the start of a good habit.

Bath toys - maybe a watering can (great fun in the bath!), stacking cups, or a board book.

Why not make a baby sitting voucher and give it to the mother. The child will probably have a lot of toys and enjoy the unwrapping more than what is actually inside.

My grandaughters had a set of bath pens, they could write on the bath or the tiles and it cleaned off with no trouble, in fact they cleaned it themselves from about 18 months!
