Disastrous Day Out

Today I went for the first time to spend the day with a new-ish friend. She ushered me into her house and her dog jumped up and laddered my tights. We went into the kitchen where she made me a cuppa which I spilled on the floor when the dog got under my feet.
We then set off to visit my friend's mother and the dog was in the back of her car when it decided to evacuate its bowels. The smell was horrendous and turned my stomach. When we arrived at the mother's house I managed to say "pleased to meet you" before depositing a copious amount of vomit at her feet. We did not stay there long and the mother was distinctly frosty towards me.
Back at my friends house the dog jumped up again and ripped my dress. We then adjourned to the pub for some tea and when the waitress brought the food she tipped a bowl of chips onto my lap.
Back at my friends house I made to leave and went to give my friend a hug when the bloody dog bit me.
Not one of my better days out
