What is too much information for my six year old? I tell him EVERYTHING! There is nothing I won't discuss with him in detail. Is this OK?

There is a danger of given too much information to children...that they will share it with other children in an unclear fashion. Information needs to be need to know. I had a lovely Dorling Kindersley book about the birds and bees that I shared with my children when there were about 7 (it is not available any more, I have looked, sorry!). I particularly think it is important that children with older sisters should be aware of monthly happenings. There is another danger that a child showing "abnormal" interest (although how they judge this goodness only knows) may be flagged by teaching staff as a possible abuse victim. He is a lucky lad to have such an understanding mum. I would draw the line at deviant behaviour...50 shades of grey etch.
