Truckfest Peterborough... Great Weekend :)

I went to Truckfest P'boro from Friday till Monday and had a brilliant time. There was so much to see and do. I last went there about 10 years ago and forgot just how good it was. I was there with my mates for the weekend with the Custom Vans. Does anyone else on AB go to this event?

No! I live about a stone's throw from the Showground and I avoid it like the plague!

Lol barmaid. I think that probably goes for everyone when it comes to events that are 'on their doorstep' so to speak. There are a few events down my way that I too avoid knowing they are more hassle than fun for the locals.

I'd forgotten all about it until I needed to nip to QD for some plant trays. Then I cursed!

I do go to events at the Showground - but normally it is only Antiques Fairs. Last time we went Bargain Hunt was there!

My daughter went a few years ago and her ex will have been there this year, his truck is metallic blue and has an Egyptian set of artwork which looks stunning.

I drive trucks for a living.

I cannot think of any good reason to go to a truck show.

You got to try if you haven't already. It's not just for looking at trucks... it's the artwork, the customised vehicles, the stalls, the entertainment, the excitement of everything going on around you, the 'spending at weekend away' with good mates, the unusual, the extreme. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend and would recommend it.
