Hypothetical Question

If someone was stupid enough to drop a phone in the bath, how long would it take for the rechargeable batteries to dry out,and could they be put on the radiator.(Not a mobile phone)And would they work again.

A friend once slipped in the bath and was there alone for several hours,so now I always take the phone in with me. But I have made my daughter promise that if they have to call the fire brigade she will make sure I'm covered up.Not such a pretty sight as I was.

Snags....I had a house before this one. I had a house with central heating. I didn't realise that our mishaps had to be current.

My Mrs once dropped her mobile phone into the washing up sink, she put it in the airing cupboard for a couple of days and it worked ok after that.

I would put it in the airing cupboard, a much more gentle heat. My camera was soaked and after leaving in the a c for about a week, it worked perfectly. it didn't fall in the bath, I fell into a river !!

Phone has been in the airing cupboard for a week. Dead as a Dodo. Will try new batteries and see if that helps.
