Both Trish and I love animals especially dogs, they don't want much just some where warm and dry to live some food and affection. In return you get a loyal and loving friend who'll never let you down.
I wouldn't go as far as to say I love them, but I certainly respect them and like to read about them. This includes bugs, birds, fish and even microlife.
I'm definitely a dog lover. I don't have one at the moment but I'm thinking of getting a rescue one later this year. I love most animals, though not too keen on cats and that's purely because they crap everywhere but their own garden and because they kill birds, which I love.
janbee, cats do crap in their own gardens I can assure you. I have to go out to mine daily to clean up after our resident moggies. My cats are also not hunters.
Why not just admit being a cat hater because you don't like animals that can't be controlled and that are independent.
I absolutely adore my dog, for the most part he is the only company I have during the day whilst everyone is at school or work. I dread the day the leaves me.
