How Do You Know A Guy Likes You If You Told Him You Liked Him

I met a boy who is in 8th grade named Kyle. I've only known him since the 8th grade, but when Kyle and I joined Drama Club together and had play rehearsals Kyle and I really bonded and ever since Drama Club ended I've liked him a lot. During Drama rehearsals he would playfully try to scare me and during most of our Drama rehearsal I would catch him looking at me smiling.
I finally told him Wednesday that I liked him and the day after one of our friends named Kaitlyn came up to me and said that Kyle told her that I liked him and that he said he needed help doing something and that he wouldn't tell her what but that it involved me and right after school by the school buses my our friend Armando came up to me and said that Kyle liked me.

Do you think that these are signs that he likes me?
He smiles at me a lot during class
He likes to give me high fives
He plays around with my occasionally
He gets off of his bus just to talk to me
and he stares at me while smiling

Personally I would steer clear of somebody who would "playfully try to scare me" as that the first sign of a control freak.

If he liked you and you like him and you have said that you like him and he seems to like hanging around with you... he probably likes you too. But wait for him to say anything himself. Ball is in his court.
