I remember Ethel. Very well educated lady and good with her answers.
Also Bigmamma never once complained about her illness always cheerful. I know how she felt as I looked after a lady with the same illness in my private nursing.
Yes, I remember Ethel. She made me LOL a lot. She onced used the phrase "what the ecky peck" and that has stuck with me. Very funny lady and much missed.
Bigmamma was a wonderful lady and very sadly missed by many x
I remember Ethel very well indeed, a lovely lady who lived in Dudley quite near to where I live in Aldridge. We corresponded by email occasionally & she was a very interesting person to talk to. I do know that she suffered with Myasthenia Gravis & had to visit hospital very regularly. Then one day she stopped appearing on A/B, & because we are all remote from each other on here there was no way of finding out what happened to her so I assumed that her illness had caught up with her & she is no longer with us.
Rest in peace lovely Ethel.♥♥♥.
I so miss Bigmamma, found a Christmas card she sent me a few years ago recently and shed a tear or two though she is at least out of pain, a beautiful beautiful soul.
I do miss Whiffey too, he could be controversial but had an incredibly sharp wit.
