Is that lead as in a dog lead , or lead as in the element Pb?
Which quiz is it, Pechie? If it's a quiz please can you tell us the theme and explain what the 12,17 means.
If it's a crossword AB has a crossword section. We need the letter count (I assume it's not 12,17) , name of crossword and details of known letters.

I've just realised from another thread that this is The Guardian Crossword. I think the 12 and 17 were names of composers.If you look in Crosswords someone has just asked this so an answer will be forthcoming soon.
