What is the difference between kids sun lotion and normal ones. I think its just money making, and am thinking of just buying the normal spf30 for my kids, as I am unsure as to why I need to put a higher spf on them when they need some sun in their skin (vit d). Am I right?
well, are they going to be sitting in the blazing hot sun for hours? if they are in the uk, it'll prob be ok. Personally i haven't seen a difference in price - they all seem to be about a fiver
Exposing skin that doesn't see the sun much and near to bones is prone to burn so a high spf lotion is a good idea. However, exposing face and lower arms, so a t-shirt is necessary, is enough for vitamin D boosts.
I got very badly burned at Brean 40 or more years ago, when I was nipper.
So you do need it even in the UK if it is very hot, or if it's sunny and you are on a boat.
