Unnecessary Advertisements When Browsing

I am using FireFox and have recently spotted some unnecessary advertisements appearance on the screen with some popping up everywhere.

Does this mean i have spyware on my computer ? How can I make it all stop ?

no you are just being targeted with ads that may interest you. i use this

I still get pop ups, how do i stop this ?

Yes, i think its Malware to be honest. I am unsure how to find out what version i am using. How do i get rid of the malware ?

Make sure you d/l and install the free version. Also, when installing opt out of any toolbars etc. Run a scan and follow the prompts when scan is complete.

If your Firefox is 'up-to-date' it will be FF 21.0.

To check:- Click open FF and then 'Help' followed by 'About Firefox'
