The weather forecast for tomorrow here (YORKSHIRE) is terrible; pouring rain all day. Do you arrange your activities with the forecast in mind or do you think it's irrelevant? Have you ever changed your plans because of the forecast?
Yes, due to having a big garden which I only do on a weekend during term time the weather determines what I'll be doing. I hope/pray (whatever) for dry weather on a Saturday afternoon as this is the only time on a weekend I can mow. Luckily, I'm often blessed....
Well rabet so far this year (Scotland) and no,it does not always rain, but as long as you are prepared for rain even if it is beautifully sunny when you set off,you would have got it right.
I don't actually pay much attention to the forecast: but my wife (and my ex) take it very seriously; no idea why; they don't work outside or organise garden parties etc.

I have to drive tomorrow from Blackpool to Leeds, the forecast is not good at all but I need to go, so as much as I would like to cancel it would be letting some people down.
Ah right coccinelle, I see.
Well at least you were lucky yesterday, sun is shining at the moment in my neck of the woods, so I will get the lawn mowed today hopefully.
It's due to disturbing the community. Sundays and bank holidays are 'family' days so a lot of people sit outside and don't want to be bothered by the neighbours making noise. Some 'mairies' do allow noise between 4pm and 6pm but not all.
Saying this this doesn't apply to the hunting season when you get woken up at 8am with gunshots...
