How Can I Stop Outlook Taking To Msn News When I Sign Out?

That's really annoying Marijn as I know too, guess that's the price we pay for having their email.

As long as you don't check the "keep me signed in" box when you sign in, there's absolutely no reason to sign out.

You're right Kevink but if you have two or more accounts then you have to as it takes you back to the original where you are still signed in unless of course if you clear your cookies and browsing history which could be an option I guess.

I tested this before I posted my answer daisya.
Log into Outlook ensuring "keep me logged in" is unchecked
Visit any other site.
Return to the Outlook login screen, you are not logged in.

Kevink, I also just tested this by navigating away completely from Outlook and MSN, when clicking on the Outlook link from the MSN homepage I am still signed in despite the box being unchecked.

... I also wonder if it's connected with you going to MSN and then to Outlook (not sure why you'd want to do that). I simply go straight to the outlook login page.

I've re-read my posts, and I can't see anywhere where I've said anything that might imply that I think you are an imbecile. However, if you feel I have, than I apologise - it certainly wasn't my intention to imply any such thing.

Kevink...I have just tried it too but with my (inferior??) browser, when I return to outlook I am still logged in! Obviously settings play a part in browers then... and as for "inferior" ones...each to his own as it's a matter of choice. I have tried Chrome and did not like it - as I say, each to his own.
