I love them all for what they are, but if i had to choose, it would be The dog. You can train a dog to go and get your papers, fetch your slippers, play ball, round up sheep etc. I cant see cats and fish doing any of that somehow..

I can't go down the road but someone comes with a dog of any kind and a lot of the time the seems to want to come to me

Dogs for me. I have a two year old Border Collie. My latest succession of many much loved Borders. I love their inteligence and sensitivity, I would have no other breed. They can read your mind, but in a gentle and caring way. I also have two cats, I love them to pieces, but can't interact with them in the same way. I also love fish, but for their relaxing aura. 6 months ago I would have said dog then cat. Now I have a cat who is the most adorable, most intelligent and most affectionate cat I've ever known so I would probably now say cat first. Although I love dogs too and would have one if I didn't have to work all day.

i would most defiantaly say cats! anyone who knows me would tell u that i'm obsessed with them!!! there just so amaizing...and there like far easier to train than dogs are, in my opinion dogs r like impossible to trian to me! anywayz yeh cats! i'v got 10 cats of my own love'em all!
