Good Coffee Maker

My poor old Krups is on its last legs - can anyone recommend a good replacement?

I want a traditional one with a milk frother too - don't fancy a pod one. Found this one and wonder if it's any good?

This is the current version of the La Pavoni machine which I've had for a good few years now.

It makes better coffee than any of my previous espresso machines and has been utterly reliable too. Fairfax are good suppliers too.

The machine in your amazon link is a 'bean to cup' system - these are pretty complex beasts and have had some reliability issues (not the specific one you link to, but other similar machines).

Yes - made in Italy - makes great espresso/americano and the milk frother is very effective and easy to use (has separate 'extra heat' control to give good steam).

I've had the deLonghi (on your link) for over two years and love it. Even the descaling is a doddle.
I wouldn't be without it.

I'm sure the perfect coffee machine has not yet been created. Why else would every single stall at car-boot sales be trying to sell one ? In fact, there are so many, I wonder if there's some obscure regulation that says you can't get in to a car-boot sale as a seller without one.
