I bought six tubers today, Can I plant these outside in their permanent pots this month?

Yes, you can plant them out now. You might have to bring them in before the winter frosts, because they are not winter hardy. Tend to plant mine up every year, storing them in the loft over the winter.
If you leave them in the pots you may find beetles eating them as a winter treat as well.
