I buy lots of cheaper versions of things though, after buying a load of cheap supermarket's own washing up liquid for a delivery, I tried some Fairy Platinum on offer and am not going back, makes an amazing difference!

zacs. I was talking about the cr@p you get in pubs such as carling & carlsberg. That 1 looks a good 'un.
I thought you were but just wanted to point out that we can do some good ones if we want to ;-)
Carte Noir coffee. Used to drink Nescafé but it started to taste funny.
What on earth is the problem with any supermarket basic loo paper - it all goes down the same pan. Ditto kitchen rolls and tissues.

When times were (very) hard I tried to comprimise. But, although I am of working class stock, I have realised I have very expensive tastes. I would rather go without than have cheaper substitutes.
Heinz beans, soup, ketchup
Toilet roll has to be Andrex
Meat in general has to come from a butcher, not a supermarket.
Eggs have to be free-range
Fairy Liquid
Teapigs/Twinings tea
Lurpak butter
Domestos Bleach
Flash Liquid
Robinson's Squash
McVitie's Biccies
Fairy Platinum is fab :)
Kenco coffee with Skimmed milk I think
Tick Tock tea topped up to the brink
Fresh Free range eggs are close to my heart
Has to be Heinz beans that dont make you ****

These are a few of my favourite things♫

Toilet roll has to be Cushelle. Andrex isn't good enough for me anymore.
Kitchen roll has to be Plenty.
Original Fairy Liquid. Nothing else is good enough for me although I haven't tried Platinum yet. Its now on my "try" list.
My eggs have to Free Range.
Not too fussed about anything else.

Blue won't eat any own supermarket brand food. She has to have Felix AGAIL or Sensations pouches. She's a fussy moggy.
Supermarket own brand cereals are a complete no, no.

It has to be Kellogg's, Nestle or Weetabix.

However own brand loo rolls are fine.
i've just done my weeks shopping for me, mr kicker, the boy and 3 cats for the grand total of.....£57.23. i am so skint i didn't have much choice! but that is all home made food with plenty of fruit and veg. i will buy the cheapest things i can get away with.......e.g. tesco value coco pops for 83p. i just don't have any sodding money :(
Tesco Value Coco Pops?

I think I would eat porridge in preference to that, and it's probably cheaper.
It has to be Croft Original sherry!
I love porridge, specially the oats so simple sachets, however, I tried the Lidl versions courtesy of my mum and they were awful. I didn't think you could go wrong with porridge which ever brand it is but I was wrong.
I never compromise on food. My meat and animal products must be from a high-welfare, known source and my veg is organic or locally sourced.

I can't abide Ecover washing-up liquid as I seem to get through a bottle a week despite have a dish washer, so it's always Fairy for me!
I found all the posts of interest but I was surprised at the universal love of Heinz beans. I have found Bransons superior and the sauce in it is thicker and creamier.
