how do you make a 10 month old how has cosleeping go to crib sleeping easer?

my son has slelp in our bed since he was 1 month old and he is know 10 month and has fallen out of the bed and lastnight I woke up and he was stand up right beside thwe bed> I am trying to put him in his crib and fing it difficult. Looking for saggustiopn to make the tranition a little smoother?

Put him in his cot in his own room and grin and bare the ear torture! Do not give in as this will send him mixed messages. Persist!!!! I know its hard but ignoring the crying only took a few days and then it worked for me. Good luck.
