You put your shopping on conveyor belt, put the plastic divider thingy after your shopping. Person behinds you moves it up and squashes your rolls against the hard stuff so they can squeeze their stuff on.
Ooh, blooming customers.
No question really, another irksome day shopping.
I tutted and moved their stuff back as it was falling over onto me rolls.

I would push the plastic thingy back and say in a very loud voice "Look what you are doing missus. You are squashing my rolls. Be more careful can't you".
I usually speak very quietly and I never shout but I have been known to raise my voice enough for most of the supermarket to hear.
How rude.
Triggs I like the personal touch and never go to self-serve. I think that way could lead to even more unemployent.

Exactly, when we had a local Post Office I would stand a few feet behind the person being served to give them some privacy, the number of times I was asked 'are you in the queue?'
It nearly, nearly got to the stage that I replied 'I'm standing here for the good of my health!'
In fact, it did one day :-)
