Baked Potato

Can anyone tell how long it takes to do a baked potato in a fan-assisted oven rather than 10-12mins in the microwave please?

Depends on the size of the potato, but we generally allow about an hour at 220 degrees - and it's very expensive compared to the microwave!

Compromise by giving it 5 mins in the microwave & 20 mins in a hot oven to crisp up...

Not bad sfby. That is similar to the way I do mine in the combi-micro. Excellent results every time using a decent potato like Rooster.

That's what I do sfby, make sure you prick the potato all over with a fork first..............
