Top Tip For A £20 Note
36 Answers
If ever I send one of the Junior O's to the shop with a £20 note (or even a £10 note), I always write my initials on the corner of it.
It has just paid dividends as youngest Junior O has been for some milk and the assistant tried to short change him. He stood his ground and demanded to see the last £20 placed in the till. As he could identify it, she had to then give him the correct change.

I doubt it, if you had you would know that when a till is tallied at the end of a day you will be in trouble with your boss if it is regularly over the amount it should be. There are usually CCTV cameras above each till to prevent any shop assistant pocketing money that should either be placed in the till or given as change to a customer.
Sorry to both of you, Boo and Daffy.
Clearly I am completely wrong in my observations and a bad mother to boot.
Oh, and paranoid too.
Shopkeepers are all as honest as the day and would never countenance short-changing anyone, especially not a child.
All of us who have suspected such goings on should be ashamed of ourselves and seek psychiatric advice.
