Emergency 999 Or Facebook ?

There was a car crash and a fight in our street a few weeks back, involving injuries. What astounded me was that 8 people immediately posted it on Facebook but only 1 bothered to dial 999.
Is this the norm now ? what would you do first if you saw an incident , FaceBook Twitter or 999 ?

Well AB can be nearly as bad as FB, I remember a post saying '' I think my cat has eaten something poisonous, what should I do?''
At least the poster was told to get off the computer and call the vet .

Had to vacate morrisons the other week as there was a fire in the canteen and as me and my sis walked out she got straight on her phone to put it on fb
