Does anyone out there know which is the best Wireless Network router compatible with NTL. I have spoken to NTL, but they were about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Nothing strange there i here you say :) When i shop around on the net, most routers seem to only mention BT.

PLEASE HELP, I'm pulling out what little hair i have left :)

From personal experience, I've used both a Netgear WGR614 and a Linksys WRT54G with NTL, and both have worked fine.

Cheers bobjim1705. maybe i can keep some hair now :)
something like this:

basically you just want a wireless router, but make sure that it doesn't say "ADSL" in the description. it's quite likely to have an ADSL modem built in, which will not work (as NTL uses cable, not ADSL technology).
I use a linksys myself gaoler.....works brilliantly.

ethernet conn from the ntl modem to wireless router , if memory serves.... its great having the mobility of the wireless!
I am surprised NTL could not help you.If you search through their website (cant remember whereabouts) there is a link to a website that sells a router that is recommended by NTL.This is what I did,and I have used the router for about a year now without any problems at all.The router is from a company called Actiontec. It was a little more expensive than some other routers I have seen, but I purchased because NTL recommended it.
